Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hello For about a year ago i got my 911 re-sprayed in the original 997 brown metallic color. Now the painter that did this job got the color code direct from Porsche, but i cannot get a hold of him, and i got some parts that i need to get painted now, using another painter, but this time, we cannot seem to get the color code from Porsche here i DK. Does anybody have the same color and therefor the color code? This is the color: http://www.porschepic.com/porsche/car/pictures/2010/03/porsche-997-turbo-cabriolet1.jpg Thanks

POST 2Original post

Macademia Metallic is the color in your picture. Not sure why you or your painter can't get the code but this is what I found: Porsche Macadamia Met: M8W Another source: Macadamia Metallic Clearcoat (WA322N) M8W/9S

POST 3Original post

Thanks, but are a color code not 4 characters? But the S9 sounds familiar, so its properly that one.

POST 4Original post

Your maintenance manual should have a sticker on page 1 with all your specs including the paint code. A dealer can also get the code for you.

POST 5Original post

Well the issue is that, the color i got it in now is not the same as when i was delivered, and Porsche will not deliver the code that i want.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
