This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Rennlist price: $60 + shipping This oil can be use as: 1) A flush oil before switching to DT40 to eliminate cross pollination of additives of different oils. 2) The mineral break-in oil for freshly rebuilt engines for ambient temp mainly > 70F. http://www.drivenracingoil.com/news/...r40-break-oil/ Proceed will go to LN Engineering.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not sold because shipping is like $50~60 so it's really not worth the hassle for anyone. I may just use it myself if I switch to DT40 for my '03 in the future.

POST 6Original post

Do you really need a flush oil before DT40? I have a case of DT40 on the shelf and am running Mobil 1. Was planning just to change directly to DT40. Is this a bad idea?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My understanding is a flush is needed only if you do UOA on the DT40. Mixing old oil with DT40 may result in weird UOA numbers due to cross pollination of incompatible additives.
