Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone, While in the process of installing a garage door opener into one of the spare dash buttons, a little metal clip popped out, made a ping and flew across the garage, never to be seen again. This clip holds the button panels to the dash. It's sort of a U-shaped, and fits into the a square cutout in the plastic. There are two of them per button panel. I've attached a picture of the area. I searched around online, but came up empty. For the life of me I can't find any reference to these clips. Does anyone know the name or possibly part number? Thanks in advance!

POST 2Original post

PET has several 'Speed Nuts' listed (999 507 462 02) on illustration 809-00. Each has a different number...I took the number from the one that looks to be most closely in the area you indicate. Really hard to tell if this is what you need...but thought I would point you in the right direction. Check your local parts guy and see if he knows.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I should have known to look at the parts catalog. Duh... I think I found it in the following drawing, listed as PANEL FASTENER (999 507 533 02), number 14 on illustration 809-01. I plan on ordering a couple of these, and we'll see how it goes. Thanks again!

Good for you, yes #14 or #15...guess I didn't scroll down far enough in PET
