Just picked up my first porsche , noticed that the drivers side side light is not on so changed the bulb and the relevant fuse but still no joy!

Hi All Just picked up my first porsche , noticed that the drivers side side light is not on so changed the bulb and the relevant fuse but still no joy! Both the dip and main work fine on that side. any other ideas? Cheers Charlie

Check that the connector mounted in the wing is secure - sometimes they come loose in their mounting bracket and you get a poor contact. Also give it a spray with contact cleaner if you have some.

:agree: Had the same thing...just took out the light, sprayed some wd40 on the connectors and made sure the light was seated properly!

Thanks guys, Ill try the WD40 later. Im just hoping that its not going to be a massive electrical problem?
