Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used my guard for a bit and I don't think I'm claustrophobic, but it definitely closes the space in.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hello, I recently sourced a rear luggage guard for my 2012 Cayman and realized I need separate tie down hooks that hold the bottom of the guard in place. The part number is 987-555-627-00 and it is part 29 in illustration 807-05. The ones I have are part 31 in the same illustration. I called my dealership and was told the part is on backorder and they want $150+ for each which is a bit much. I haven't been able to find any for sale online. Wanted to see if someone has these brackets on hand and can help provide close-up photos and measurements so I can 3D print them. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

I think a trip to a marine supply place if there is one near you might be productive, and as outrageous as most stainless steel parts on boats are - I don't think they'll even come close to the cost from Porsche . Most of these places have bins of fittings of various types - showing a salesman/woman the illustration might assist in finding what you need.

POST 3Original post

Ok I pulled one from my car. I'll need some guidance for the pictures

POST 4Original post

I used my guard for a bit and I don't think I'm claustrophobic, but it definitely closes the space in. It also will creak a little going up into driveways. I would get questions from some MD's I worked with asking why I have it installed and told one guy I do side work for the local police😂

Thanks for helping me out with this. A photo for each of the 6 sides with a metric ruler (or best, 1cm graphing paper) in the background would be perfect.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
