I recently had H&R adjustable coilovers installed in my 2003 c2. I really love the way it looks lowered down low but it's just too low in the front for the speed bumps, driveways and dips in my area, even going painfully slow I am scraping the front end.if I have my mechanic adjust them to raise the car a bit, is that a pretty straight forward deal? Will I need to do the alignment again?

Did you try taking the speed bumps at an angle? As stated, changing height requires realignment. Because I'm always jacking around with mine, I bought the lifetime alignment at Firestone for $170 per car. I've used it a total of 7 times between the two 996's I have it on. Check out this link.
