I tried to add a few more options and to my dealer's surprise the order was locked. Porsche changed the original build date of January to December. Depending on snow, they may have to flat bed the Cayman to my house!

AND MY DEALER CALLED ME TO SAY I HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH LONGER, AND THE ONLY REASON IS THE FACT I TOOK THE CARRERA S WHEELS. I HOPE HE WILL CALL ME AGAIN TO SAY IT HAS MOVED FORWARD TOO

Guy's, Porsche dosen't have the order board they or their dealers claim they have. My order was moved up a month also. If you give them a clean order they can build probably within 45 days.

Somehow seeing the thing pull up on a flatbed in the snow seems way cooler than going to the dealer to pick it up! What a sight.... Maybe it will come on Superbowl Sunday and you can have a big party.

I think this depends on your dealer's allocation. They can't just order any car they wantbut are assigned a specific number of specific models.
