Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I may have to test drive the luggage to find out how I feel pulling it off the belt at the airport in front of a 737-worth of people...probably emarrassed.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I'm a Brit in Florida on a training course and I'm pleased to report that after 2 days of seminars I've managed to come up with a new question for the Forum... Do you rate the Porsche luggage? I'm considering buying some when I head up to NY for the weekend (new Porsche shop). But it's pretty expensive and so I wondered if anyone has any alternative ideas that will make the most of the luggage space in the Cayman. I'm looking for a travel trolley bag and a large, soft bag. Right, I'm off to find an unsuspecting American to discuss the Cayman with...

POST 2Original post

Any U.S. luggage store will have plenty of nice options and will be a lot cheaper than Porsche and probably better quality. For me I don't want to advertise my 'lust' too much on the general public.

POST 3Original post

Ah but you CAN get the Porsche luggage in the same exterior color as your car! Speed Yellow luggage would be cool!

POST 4Original post

Well, once you are away from your car and hauling your yellow luggage down the airport concourse in your yellow 'cayman' t-shirt you better have your manly attitude going..../fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/teeth_smile.gif

POST 5Original post

Now it is you guys that are killing me. I came home last night with my little Cayman model car in cobalt blue and my big calendar. The first thing my wife said was, 'where do you think you are hanging that thing'. I had to laugh cause it is quite large at 18' x 28', it was just the tone of her voice. Naturally it went into the garage near the future thrown of the big C. However the little model car took its place right next to the family archives in the main living room at this she only shook her head and mumbled 'what next'. Aloha Russ

POST 6Original post

Something for her from the Cayman Club Goodie Store???

POST 7Original post

Hey K, You might just be saving my marriage! I will take a look and see if I cannot find something for her, at least before my hardback brochure, and Thrill of the Chase book arrives!!! Thanks Russ

POST 8Original post

Kinda laughed when I first saw this.......but now I'm just going to have to get one of the small suitcases in Atlas.......it's just too cool to pass up.

POST 10Original post

I saw pics in the hardcopy Porsche selection catalog I have, but I assume they've got some on the Porsche website somewhere, start there... As for manly attitude with Yellow car and yellow luggage, yellow just screams self confidence IMHO, plus yellow luggage is real EASY to spot at the baggage claim among all the black luggage at the airport... There is a Guards Red piece of luggage shown at: http://www21.porsche.com/usa/accessoriesandservices/driversselectiononlineshop/

POST 11Original post

K, Porsche does have some nice accessories, but I a buying my cap and shirts from your store. We gotta support the man, K that is. Aloha Russ (gone shopping)

POST 12Original post

Over-lust is an issue. I may have to test drive the luggage to find out how I feel pulling it off the belt at the airport in front of a 737-worth of people...probably emarrassed. The boys at work bought me a Cayman model for my birthday recently. One of the guys (who is a Porsche owner) enthused that I should put it 'in a room that is not related to your Cayman....like the bedroom'. Seriously, if you guys keepthisup youtoo will start to make comments like that!...however he's got a point. If the wife is in a bad mood at least I can look the other way at my Cayman and feel good again!! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif

POST 13Original post

Hey RussK; How did you get the little car in cobalt blue???? I've checked the Porsche Store and they show all of the little cars/crystal car not available at this time.....so I HAD to order the radio controlled one to tide me over until Jan.!!!!! I am calling in the morning for the calendar/cd and hopefully will be able to get the 1/43 scale car then.

POST 14Original post

Chuck, I ordered it from Crown Porsche somewhere in the mid west I think. He had one cobalt blue left! At least it looks cobalt, could be lapis? But close enough! Good Luck, Russ
