Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had a service and need new brakes discs and pads, was going to purchase the design 911 brembo brake discs and pads set. Any views from anyone. 911 Turbo X50. Is the car. Thanks

POST 2Original post

I'd be buying from autodoc. Will be a fraction of the cost for the same parts. https://www.autodoc.co.uk/

POST 3Original post

Buy Brembo parts, from the cheapest place. Can get them cheaply on ECP too.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. Just checked auto doc and euro both more expensive than the kit from design 911 by some way.

POST 5Original post

I have it on good authority the ECP Brembo brakes are made for ECP under licence. That said they do the job, they are just not made by Brembo. OK for the road but would not use them for the track.

POST 6Original post

With discounts applied? I'd check autodoc again mid week when they slash their prices.
