Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was replacing the anti roll bar bushes on the rear of my C2 and one of the retaining bolts sheared off. Does anybody have any experience \ opinion of "left handed" drill bits to drill out the bolt or should I just buy quality drill bits (rather than screw fix stuff)?

POST 2Original post

I had the same problem. I ended up drilling them out and bolting right the way through with nyloc nuts which should make removal in the future easier.

POST 3Original post

I've got a set of Snap On LH drill bits and they've got me out of plenty of spots. Expensive but well worth it. Whatever you do, do not be tempted to try an EZ Out...

POST 4Original post

Also interested in LH drill bits. I saw a youtibe video on left-hand drill bits - so went and had a look. They seem very expensive (compared to normal bits). If you find a decent set at a reasonable price, do let us know.....
