Made a video I didn’t want to make I replaced my aging shifter cables with Numeric and ironically, the numeric cable got disconnected on its own which is what left me “stranded” not the old cables what to do when your shifter cables fail and you get stranded

Excellent video on the cable break solution - and you did it in (relatively) dressy shoes, too! If you're in 3rd, could you have clutched and gone into 1/3/5 since you just have to push left-right? I figure that might work as well? Would make the car almost normally drivable..

July 5th, 2023 Added an aftermarket rear camera troubleshooting video. I respect the way you think sir. Thank you for the idea. That wouldn't work because I had side-to-side motion but the cable was still disconnected and didn't have the back and forth motion needed to shift out of 3rd, into 1st or 5th

Thanks for that excellent tip, could save a lot of people faced with similar circumstances. And of course, it only happens when you least expect it, and in clothes that are the most inappropriate to be lying on the ground in a parking lot. But, what you saved in a tow to a shop you can buy new pants and a shirt. Keep the good stuff coming, your audience is growing.
