Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

will soon be ins time for us, can people tell us what ins company's they are with, also want ones that do 2-3 track days a year in the policy[greater excess applies for these days] many thanks.

There's four pages here: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=275221 [ ] [ ]

POST 3Original post

See "The ultimate insurance thread" here ... http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=275221 ETA... beaten to it by Richard again :-(

POST 4Original post

I think you will have to be pretty quick out of the box to beat Richard I use Heritage, this allows me unlimited track day coverage; free if it is an official car club one, a small charge if it is run by an approved Track Day company (i.e. the are members of some sort of Track Day association) I think all the many Track Day companies are, it cost me £45 I think to do Silverstone full GP circuit with Gold Track. The excess does increase from the base £600 for road to £1600 for a Car club day and £2600 for an approved track day company day. Hope that helps.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

had a look at the ins thread, but cant seem to find any insurers that people are with that give the track days cover, but with a greater access when doing a track day, so would like people that have this on there ins to help me out a bit, many thanks.

POST 7Original post

Try A. Manning Ltd in Henley. "Organised" Track day (ie. by a motor club) insurance is included (not the 'Ring though).

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

you say by a motor club, does that mean the companys that organise them, or clubs like PCGB?

POST 9Original post

Sorry, should have read "such as...". PCGB track days are included, for example.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
