Hi I've just bought a set of new tyres for my 996tt and want to ensure the geo is set up right. We're in lockdown and I am shielding. My only option is my local no porsche specialist as I can't get to CoG Would anyone here have any recommendations on setting they have used. I'm looking at normal driving and a bit of fast road. I have 5mm spacers on too. Thanks

I'd take the spacers off, standard Porsche settings then put the spacers back on.

I experimented a lot with stock suspension before making the transition to Ohlins. As a starting point, try these. Assuming road only performance. Front. 50 mins camber Front 2 mins toe or zero, whichever feels best Rear. 1 degree 35 mins camber Rear. 10 mins toe PER SIDE, 20 in total. This should feel quite nice on the road, but getting 50 mins of camber on the front is about the limit. Give that a try and adjust from there. Make sure they achieve even numbers from side to side, this is pretty imperative, even if you pay them extra for the time taken. Hope that helps. Mike.

At CG they insist on a full tank of fuel. My particular car has been set up with the drivers weight in the seat, just not at CG.
