Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

I don't feel he can be expected to fill a column limited to 1000 words etc with technical comment, other than what is largely, universally accepted as fact.

Suggestion · Original poster

Always find it annoying when people say you must change the IMSB regardless.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261027T025149Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Bit light on the technical issues but overall positive on the 996 [url]https://www.goodwood.com/grr/...reconsider-the-996--thank-frankel-its-friday/

POST 2Original post

Nice article, fair and convincing. Thanks for posting that up.

POST 3Original post

I like Frankel but this is just another rehash of what everyone else has been saying over the last decade, he is very late to the party. And even mentioning the RMS is very 2000's, is there a single 996 on the road without the updated RMS? Apart from him saying it a good car, this article could have been written 15 years ago, poor journalism.

POST 4Original post

In fairness it was only a review of a snotter he was loaned as a courtesy car and, bar the title, not really put forward as anything more than that.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah I kind of agree. It's nice to hear positive words on the 996 but the bit at the end about IMS and RMS felt a bit lazy. Always find it annoying when people say you must change the IMSB regardless.

POST 6Original post

Ok, but Andrew Frankel isn't "everyone". He's probably driven most variants of every single performance car over the last 30 years including the 996 when it was new. In addition to his eminence to comment, he does so from a position of objective knowledge which I think is worth far more than the two a penny YouTube self appointed ego fulfilled "experts" and as such, a nice validation that the 996 is great car. I don't feel he can be expected to fill a column limited to 1000 words etc with technical comment, other than what is largely, universally accepted as fact.
