Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Another condensation thread but the others didn't answer my questions and all seem to give very different opinions! Anyway, intermittent condensation in my front lights. With the caliper refurb / RSS engine mount installation upcoming I am reluctant to blow more on headlights, has anyone fitted these vents from Retrofitlabs? https://www.retrofitlab.com/en/breathing-vents-2.html 9 good reviews and not much money....so wondering if they work and I should pull the trigger when I get the above sorted.

POST 2Original post

Probably worth a go. My old e36 M3 had condensation in the headlights and the easiest fix was to remove the small bulb replacement hatches to allow air to flow through. Obviously over the years this might lead to grime getting inside but not too hard to clean on the e36, unlike our bonded together units. Point is that more airflow is the solution here and for the small outlay I would suggest it was worthwhile.

POST 3Original post

Personally I'd just dry the light out and then find where its not sealing and re-seal it.
