Suggestion

so i filled up my gas tank and loaded 2, 5 gallon pails of paint in the trunk to see if I could get the front end to drop a 1/2inch, it did and it looked perfect, so now im going to lower the front end to 26" by adjusting the torsion bars in the front end, check out this link:

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys, I just picked up an '02 996 TT and it came with H&R sport springs with Bilstein B8 shocks, H&R adjustable sway bars, rear adjustable toe links. I just ordered rear upper adjustable control arms to get some positive camber as the best I can get now is -3.5deg. Here is my question, when I measure the ride height (floor to wheel arch) I get 25.5" front and 25" rear. Why is the rear sagging? I check all the components and everything looks in good shape. The suspension kids were supposedly done 1yr. ago. What can I do to correct this? Other than coilovers, I like the ride as it is now but want to have a even ride height or a bit of a rake. Thx.

My car is 23k, stock suspension on 19s. 26.5 F, 26.25 R

POST 3Original post

Im going through something similar, but I have 26 1/2 in the rear and the same in the front but the car looks like its to high in front for some reason? so i filled up my gas tank and loaded 2, 5 gallon pails of paint in the trunk to see if I could get the front end to drop a 1/2inch, it did and it looked perfect, so now im going to lower the front end to 26" by adjusting the torsion bars in the front end, check out this link: Pelican Technical Article: Lowering the 911 - 911 (1965-89) - 930 Turbo (1975-89)
