Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I am missing a random piece on one side of my car and I can't find anything online and I don't even know what to search for. Anyone got any ideas?

You would need to show us what the piece is or at least where it is missing.

right my bad I should have shown more. It's just a weird lil exterior trim piece at the window and convertible top.

POST 4Original post

It is the cover for the mounting point for the Roof Transport System for the cabriolets. #19. I have an RTS. I'll see if I can dig up some pics to show how the mounting point fits in there...

POST 7Original post

The RTS is a really cool thing. I only use it for my bike. It's pretty crazy to look at what is needed in the car design to support this kind of rack. Much more difficult than the standard rails on the tops of SUV's. The catalog listing above was from autoatlanta.com. Could prolly order from them. Or, the PN is there so you could check online parts houses(suncoast, sunset, delaware) or go to your local dealer. It might not be available in which case you need to look to dismantlers. I have almost no experience there and have no recommendations. Good luck!
