Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

The dreaded Check Engine Light came on today. I hooked up the trusty Durametrics fault code reader, and it showed 3 faults: P1482 Heater final stage tank leakage diagnosis module P0447 Solenoid valve final stage tank leak diagnosis module P2400 Pump motor final stage tank leak diagnosis module Does anybody have any idea what these are about? I reset the errors, but they return when I start the engine. Yes, I tightened the gas cap. I have a 2007 Cayman S. The car runs fine, and there is no fuel leaking on the garage floor...

POST 2Original post

sounds like your coolant system. Probably a sensor malfunction.

POST 3Original post

Nevermind!! Earlier this week I was trying to remove the carbon canister in the front boot (only installed there on US cars) so that I could remove and weigh the aft piece of carpet. I forgot to reconnect the wiring harness to the carbon canister. Problem solved. I cleared the fault codes, and they did not return.
