Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Easy question - the interior trim either side of the windscreen just pulls off?

POST 2Original post

Yes give it a tug you might have to ease out the trim above the door I have had the head liner out in mine it's not to difficult the trim pull up as it sits behind the dash a bit I had sun roof rattle that sent me mad but I did fix it

POST 3Original post

I can't quite remember but I'm sure I had to remove the sun visor before the trim come off? It's only held in with 2 spring loaded clips

POST 4Original post

Download the manual here .. body internal for the instructions .. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=83491 B pillar trim off then the A pillar trim .

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all. The workshop manuals will prove very useful. I'm wiring a dash cam, it needs a switched 12v feed and a constant 12v feed. It's one of those that has a voltage sensor and stops drawing power when the battery drops below a set voltage. I need to decide whether it's simpler to tap off the fuse box or the HU as I know that has the requisite connections.

POST 6Original post

use the fuse board .. you have both permanent and switched feeds there from unused fuse holders . Obviously fit a fuse to a supply and probably 3 amp ... see what the instructions say .
