Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

I did this when I had a Boxster Spyder with the carbon buckets to avoid damage from getting in and out and it worked well.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys I'm looking to get some seat covers to help protect my lovely light grey gt3 rep buckets. Realise this is a bit of a crime to cover as they are so nice but the light grey is starting to mark on the bolsters from getting in an out and although I can probably clean (which I will) I thought I might put a cover over the top some of the time to help protect. Can any one recommend anything.. I've searched the usual eBay etc but not finding anything that looks like it'd be a decent fit yet. Pics for interest:

POST 2Original post

A section of roll cage padding, or even suitably sized pipe insulation cut to fit, and reinforced with tape. Leave it on as you get in and out to protect the bolster, then remove it once you're sat in place and pop it between the seat and the door on the floor. I did this when I had a Boxster Spyder with the carbon buckets to avoid damage from getting in and out and it worked well.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Griffter That's an idea, although I was kinda hoping for some reasonably reasonable seat cover recommendations but ive googled and googled and not much seems to be available to fit a seat like this. :dont know: I'll keep thinking on but will consider yr suggestion too - thanks

POST 4Original post

Might not be too expensive to get something custom made. You could try one of the companies that do custom seat covers for vw campers. These guys might be worth a try.... https://www.ukcustomcovers.com/car
