Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hey folks just to clarify a question I have been asked, the registered cars will be able to arrive and be parked from 8AM-10AM then public will be entering at 10AM. I had a couple of people not sure if they could make it to Sebring by the 7AM listed on the poster and flyers, my bad we will be at location by 7AM to start setup but no need for you to be there up until 10AM.

The plan is to make this 996 Gathering an annual event hopefully moving it around the country each year, I know and appreciate the similar efforts for the Boxsters, 928s, 944s, and others. I think our 996s deserve to have their own Gathering each year, I would like to keep the Friday-Saturday after Thanksgiving dates each year as most folks have free time during that period and these dates allow time to drive to event and time to drive home before the Monday work week begins. I would appreciate it if all 996 owners and enthusiasts share this plan with thier fellow local 996 folks especially through the PCA regions.
We look forward to the inaugural event here in Sebring this November 28-29th as the owner of six 996 cars I could populate the show on my own but what fun would that be, would rather have friends bring their cars as it is hard to drive six cars to an event😀

our host location for the inaugural 996 Gathering:
I am a bit ashamed to admit it but I usually drive the one nearest to the garage door so I dont need to move anything to get a car out 😀 that bing said I guess a classic Freudian would observe that the order I put the cars in the garage indicate which ones I like to drive. So I do like driving the 1999 Aero red coupe with the 3.8 Stage II engine from Flat Six Innovations, it is a hoot to run it up the revs and listen to the engine roar. Then second would be the PTS Ferrari Yellow coupe as most Porsche people enjoy seeing that unique 996. It is actually really comfortable with the hard back Sport seats, who know 😀

Yes the early cable throttle car is touted as the best drive, my car I like to call a transition car its April 2000, has Egas (booooo) but has cables to open the two lids frunk and trunk..the routing for the cable throttle is still under the carpet in the footwell at the rear passenger seat.. although maybe they kept that forever..
I sent my mufflers to Fister and had that mod done, what an excellent experience and I like the subtle increase in noise.. we just drove 850 miles and its not tiresome..
good news on the weather !!
So we had a 996 get together at my house yesterday before the 996 Gathering show today, Saturday, I want to thank the folks who stopped by to share some stories, tips, Jersey Mike subs, chip and of course my wifes chocolate chip cookies 😀

The 996 Gathering yesterday was great despite the brief rain show at lunch time, I enjoyed hosting The Wheel of Color Automotive Gathering here in Sebring hope all who attended enjoyed the show. Many thanks to the foliks at Sebring Motor Garages and Townhomes for their hospitality and the use of the facility especially the club house they provided us a first class venue for our fun. Lets plan to do it again next year.
