Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2000 Cab with a crazy problem. Whenever the canvas top is up, I hear a funny rattling sound (like a loose marble) coming from the driver-side door and or dash area. When the top is down or when I have the hard-top on the rattle disappears. Anyone else have this strange phenomena? Mv

POST 2Original post

Check the tab(s) on the top (there are two, one on each side of the latch) that goes into the windshield header. Make sure the plastic cover is still on. I had one of mine "go walkabout" and my top rattled, similar to your description.
