Suggestion
The Metra 70-1784 will plug straight in and you can grab constant and ground off of it, you'll need to run an accessory power from the fuse box since there isn't one available behind the radio.

I know I won't need the speaker connections or power on wires, but wouldn't I still be able to use the non-Bose harness for hooking up the constant +, ground, reverse, etc?

Hi, I'm going to be replacing my Bose CDR-24 with a new HU. I can find plenty of wiring harnesses for non-Bose cdr-24's, but none specifically for Bose models. I know I won't need the speaker connections or power on wires, but wouldn't I still be able to use the non-Bose harness for hooking up the constant +, ground, reverse, etc? I have everything else I need for the install on order, but I'm having a hard time figuring out the wiring harness. There is nothing fancy radio-wise in the car. No nav, no steering wheel controls, or anything beyond the radio itself. Can I get away without using an integration kit? Well, I know I need the MOST adapter, but I've read that I might lose the warning chimes. Is that so? Thanks.

The Metra 70-1784 will plug straight in and you can grab constant and ground off of it, you'll need to run an accessory power from the fuse box since there isn't one available behind the radio. I didn't really notice losing anything significant from the head unit swap, you won't get radio details in the gauge cluster anymore but that's not really any big loss.
