Check all fuses and also try to roll the windows up by holding the key in the drivers door lock tumbler to the right, lock position for about 30 secs or until the windows and top go up.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Had my hard top on my 996 for about a year after not being on it for about 10 years. When trying to close the soft top, a small click click happens followed by a quick pause, then repeats with the click click. No parts move side flaps, rear etc. I don't think the rear windows will go up now either. Any ideas? __________________ This post was auto-generated based upon a question asked on our tech article page here:
