Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I need to top up my coolant and have a couple of 1 litre bottles of genuine Porsche coolant. My question is, do I dilute this with water, or do I add 100% coolant? The owners manual seems to suggest diluting it, but there are no instructions on the bottle. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Porsche stuff goes in undiluted, but maybe I am wrong?? If I do add water as well, is tap water fine or should it be distilled water? Cheers Greg

POST 2Original post

Dilute it 50:50 with water. It comes concentrated. Tap water should be OK, but I think they recommend de-ionised.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Richard. I think I'll grab some de-ionised water to be safe then.

POST 5Original post

depending on which mobil coolant. If it is Mobil Antifreeze Advance with Glysantin G30 then you can use it in Porsches as its an OAT one.
