Obviously I won�t want that much, but a full clean used red set is really hard to come by.

Looking for a pair of front seat belts, in black, must be for a coupe (Cab/986/Cayman are different...). Must be newer style with the green plug as seen on second gen 996s and on.
Trust me I've looked, but not a single driver's side available on eBay but plenty of passenger belts. Already have rears.
The belts are not the same for all years.
earlier cars had �dumb� seat belts that had a mechanical pretensioner.
newer cars had a small detonation device in each belt (hence the green plug) that goes off in case of accident. Late 996 and 997s share the same part numbers:

Unfortunately it�s far from a straight trade. eBay dismantlers are selling individual black seat belts for $40-80 each. I already bought rears and found a passenger.
Suncoast sells a full red seat belt set for $2400. Obviously I won�t want that much, but a full clean used red set is really hard to come by.
