Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I watched while mine had the 111 point check several years ago prior to getting the warranty and I noticed the technician turning the back wheels by hand and the front wheels went round

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just wanted to know if there is anyway to tell if the 4wd system is working as an example are there any warning lights? I know that power can be up 95% - 5% to 60% - 40% rear/front, so most times its 95% rear when there is no slip.... but how can one tell if its working? What tests would OPC do to check? I just feel mine is not working :?

POST 2Original post

Was going to suggest you put your foot down in the wet - if you loose the rear end then it's not working but decided it's most probably not the safest way :wack: If you do, make sure there no other cars around and you have plenty of room to recover if it does go

POST 3Original post

I watched while mine had the 111 point check several years ago prior to getting the warranty and I noticed the technician turning the back wheels by hand and the front wheels went round This was obviously with all 4 wheels off the ground on a pillar lift. Hardly conclusive but I guess it illustrated that the viscous coupling was doing something!

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
