Suggestion
There is Dynamic route and shortest route....Make sue in the SET button on the MAP page u tick the POI (Point of Interest) to display porsche service centres, airports, Petrol stations, airport, Railway staions, etc.....I dont think it will display schools and rest stops....

Suggestion
For Trafiic Warnings enable TMS on the SET button while on MAP page...Maybe TMS is only available in Europe...

For example set at 10 or 20 miles you will not see them, but if you set the distance to 500 feet the icons pop up.

Make sure you have the distance set right, the icons dont show up when you have the distance of your map set at too far a distance.

I dont have my car for another couple of weeks but cannot be certain but a Porsche instructor said it came up when you set a route and were given option of shortest, fastest etc.

I just recently realized that when I view the map on the PCM, no icons are displayed(such as a gas station, schools, rest stops, etc) I have an 06', but I've seen other 06's that show icons on the PCM display. Why doesn't mine show any icons? Do I need a software upgrade or something of that nature. I also recall that as Jeremy Carkson was reviewing the cayman he noted that the PCM shows you where all or some of the traffic jams are "And it's bloody right!", is this true?

Make sure you have the distance set right, the icons dont show up when you have the distance of your map set at too far a distance. For example set at 10 or 20 miles you will not see them, but if you set the distance to 500 feet the icons pop up.

The roadworks warnings.... ...come from the Traffic Message Channel. But is only available in those countries where this is broadcast. (it is in UK - no idea about US)
