anyone compared a few for driving around in the cayman? i've tried the jawbone but wondered if anything else was close or better? the B&O earset 2 looks interesting but overpriced...btw i only use a headset in the car!
The Jawbone is the best I've tried. Works fine with the window down & the revs up
I use and recommend the Jabra JX10. Super tiny, long battery life, excellent audio:
ditto - the JX10 is great!
I heard the recipient audio was poor? Not so? Anyone tried the apple bt?
I've tried about 7 different headsets. Maybe it's my phone but I have never been able to get descent quality for the recipient. My end sounds great but not so much on the other side. I considered the JX10 but I don't think it's not sturdy and slim enough for my use (shove them into my jean's pocket when not in use).
well that's why the jawbone is good it cuts background noise for the other end but was hoping for an alternative?
about 5 of the 7 I've tried has the so called "background noise reduction technology". I've never heard of the jawbone, I'll check it out.
B&O earset 2 - all the way!
Yes, it is pricey. It comes with a 3 year warranty, though. After trying multiple bluetooth headsets, this is the one. Superior audio reception, and the noise cancellation cuts out a lot of background noise when talking. People can always hear you.
I am like you, only use the headset in the car - and the B & O is awesome.
I did a search, this isn't a blue tooth headset, right?
I found it searching for B&O bluethooth.
I have been meaning to look for a headset for about 6 months now. I am digging that jawbone, I may for for that. Does it come with a car charger so it doesn't have to leave the car? Also, is there a light or something that tells you there is a call coming in?
I've personally used both of these, and they are awesome.

The Motorola is ridiculously small.
I had to check myself for a minute there. The URL is correct, but Sharper Image's page title is wrong.
I was thinking "why does TX-KManS need to undergo microdermabrasion to use a bluetooth headset? Does it stick to your ear with glue or something?"
Just FYI, I sent an email to a buddy of mine asking for his input on the Jawbone. He's a total gadget nerd with OCD, and has owned/used about every Bluetooth headset out there. His reply:
Anyway, there's another opinion on the Jawbone with some interesting points.
Does it have to be the headset? I have a MOT IHF1000 in all my cars and it works great.
