We made sure the battery was fully charged and even swapped batteries to make sure we had plenty cranking power.

I read all the forum offerings here and ********. I know there are guys who have done this swap. I sourced the steering wheel, bought the column control module new from Suncoast . Bought the airbag as well new from Suncoast . Pulled it all apart, swapped the module. Checked all connections. Double checked them again. The wheel is in the car, but when I put key to position 2, the alarm horn is constant. The reason I know the alarm horn is the culprit is because I pulled the fuse for the main honk horn and no change. Pull the fuse (15a) for the alarm and no more sound. Car starts, but I cannot get access to code the wheel with my foxwell tool. I am hoping someone has some suggestions, because I'm at a loss. I don't want to drive the car without that sorted. I think the fuse is the same for the Alarm and the horn as well as the rest of the steering column (B F3) Fuel Pump Fuse and Relay I have a 2007 Base 1 Cayman with 30,000 miles. All of a sudden the car will crank but not turn over and my mechanic says the car is not getting fuel. We made sure the battery was fully charged and even swapped batteries to make sure we had plenty cranking power. But still no fuel. Could someone... www.planet-9.com you can unplug the siren near the battery to diagnose where the sound is coming from. if its the horn (which is common issue) then need to remove the airbag and check there is no binding along the sides. steering looks good!

Any more info you can add here? I REALLY want to do this as well. Tips on where to buy the wheel? Any part numbers? Trying to figure out what I need for a turn-key experience, then I can take it all to the mechanic and let him sort it out. Appreciate any info you can share as you are a pioneer in this area. It looks SO good.
