Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

DRIVETRIBE GARAGE: Jethro's Porsche 911
After seeing the above video approximately 8 years ago, I was very much intrigued about the possibility of Corbeau making a good replacement GT3 seat for the masses. Jethro had Corbeau make him a set all those years ago, and I was curious if they would ever be available to order. Well, the wait is over, and I just saw a set for sale listed on FB marketplace in DC.

And here they are on Corbeau's website:
GT3 996 REPLACEMENT SEATS - PAIR | Corbeau-Seats
For Nylon versions, Approximately $1600 for a pair of seats.
For Leather/Alcantara and carbon shell, Approximately $2800 for the set.
I love my OEM GT3 Recaro seats, but these appear to be a solid option made by a reputable manufacturer.
From the FB seller. His comments on the topic:
Patrick JC Hey Patrick appreciate you sharing this on Rennlist. Given the amount of interest in these seats, I thought it would be helpful to add my firsthand experience (feel free to post this there as well). I shared all of this with the buyer prior to the sale.
Positives:
The seats are extremely high quality. I opted for the carbon shell, which was an upgrade, but absolutely worth the spend in my opinion. The weight savings are significant with the carbon shells, both seats including all mounting hardware weighed in at 74 lbs total (as shipped).
Neutral:
These are definitely Euro-sized seats. Im 6'3", and while the fit was tight, the bigger issue for me was that the harness pass-throughs/grommets were too low for my six-point harness to comfortably fit over my HANS device. These seats are best suited for drivers under 6'0" and roughly a 32" waist.
Negatives:
Although the seats are manufactured by Corbeau UK, everything had to go through Corbeau USA. My rep at Corbeau USA was pleasant to work with, but communication required consistent follow-up. The pattern was usually: Id reach out, theyd say they were waiting on the UK team, then I wouldnt hear anything for 23 weeks until I followed up again.
This ultimately resulted in a 6+ month wait to receive the seats. To add to the confusion, I unexpectedly received the mounting hardware in a separate package before ever receiving a tracking number for the seats themselves despite being told the tracking would be provided as soon as the seats shipped.
Im not trying to knock Corbeau the seats themselves are excellent quality but the purchasing and fulfillment process was challenging.
Worst part: tariffs.
I had budgeted for a 10% tariff based on what was being reported in the news. What I didnt realize is that there are already significant tariffs on UK automotive parts, and the additional 10% was on top of that. I saw some comments questioning the price, but the reality is I was about $6k all-in for the seats after paying roughly $2k in tariffs.
That said, the buyer got a great deal, and I confirmed the seats would be a good fit for him before agreeing to sell them.
Hope this helps provide some useful insight for others considering these seats from Corbeau.
Cheers.
