Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 6Original post

When I was looking into this on my old 996, I was torn between the Fabspeed and the Scart systems. In the end I went for the Fabspeed, because I found a particularly good offer on a system including installation.

POST 7Original post

I can recommend with confidence the "Supersprint Systems" offered by and fitted by Porscheshop at very very competitive pricing. Regards Big Bob

POST 12Original post

Depends I suppose if the reason your not using PSE Porsche OE sports exhaust is for cost, or for another reason? For me it was too expensive so I had to look at other alternatives. Wanted the Switchable PSE, but had to make do, sounds pretty similar the Oettle one, and most people Rarely use the switch anyway I have an Oettle modified exhaust, you buy them from Germany, they come literally a few days later, postage is only £25 courier, well packaged. They sell lots on Ebay, they have been modifiying the standard porshce exhausts for the longest time, they change the internals and fit a Bypass valve thing between the input and out output, which gives a very nice "Roar" under acceleration, yet is quite enough on motorway so as not to be boomy or tedious, untill you put your foot down again ;-) Sounds GREAT around town! only about £400 too! The chap is very helpful gtoo if you want to speak to them. As it uses the standard Porsche Mufflers as a basis no worries re: rust etc, and you can sell your old ones for a few quid on ebay! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Porsche-911-9...14&_trkparms=72:1689|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1307 Edward[/url]
