Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Use mirror' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use mirror' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Afternoon all,
Sorry for yet another leaky Targa thread! And for putting it in wrong group! But it's a similar setup so perhaps some knowledge here
I've narrowed the leak down to the collector at the rear of the near side gutter that runs fore to aft under the lid before it exits through the tube to the rear wheel well. With a dribble of water it drains okay but quickly becomes overwhelmed and comes through the mount holes where it is screwed on and possibly the join as well as backing up to the gutter...suggesting it's full of debris?
I can get the 2 nuts holding it on off, and there's a small screw too, but it's still tight in place...held by silicon? Or do I need to undo anything else?
Cheers
Pic attached looking towards rear...I've put a white cable tie on the exit tube from the collector box.
Knowledge here Knowledge there
Post here for a little light reading on targa issues ..

The drain has X2 8mm nuts and X3 T20 torx screws .. it's also held in place with silicone sealant .. small bladed screwdriver to gently lever it off .
Be aware the screws locate the top fabric blind guide and both sections locate the cable .
Clean it out and refit using new sealant .. old surfaces need to be cleaned .
You need an airline down the actual drain pipe .. these tend to block up .. also have a look at page 3 of that link .. you can make the drains a little better .
You're a star deMort...I found the 2 x 8mm nuts but only 2 x T20 screws, which would explain why I couldn't shift it! Easy to see in the pic, taken from below...I'll take another look over the next few days, otherwise a trip to the Sussex will be in order!
There are definitely 3 torx screws .. i've undone one or two shall we say
This isn't the easiest of jobs with everything in situ .. removing the front to rear trim helps a lot but that's A and B pillar trims off for a start .
I can recommend Northway as well as my own garage should you wish to not continue .. to be honest though it sounds like you are perfectly capable and i can always explain anything you might get stuck on .
When resealing .. think of it as a U section .. sealant Must go around the U but not too much .. otherwise it will compromise the drain .. far easier with the roof out lol .
Last screw would be the far back and outer ( closest to the window ) from your picture .. use a mirror to locate .
