Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I changed out the stock gold hood emblem with a silver one from Bumper Plugs, I like the silver much more on the black. I then desnorked and installed the carbon fiber intake and cooling scoops from Farbacher Loles. Thanks to KMan for the desnork article, very helpful. Total time 1 hour. Pics taken tonight not that good will post better ones tomorrow taken in the day light

POST 2Original post

how much did you pay for the carbon fiber vents?? they look real good

POST 3Original post

LOVE the CF vents. Can you take a picture from further back?

POST 4Original post

the carbon intake/scoop from F. Loles, did the wire mesh screen came with it or you have to fabricate your own mesh?

POST 5Original post

Need to see better on a distance see if I like them better than the stock one (which are not that bad actually). Group buy possible?

POST 6Original post

Came as a complete replacement pc. everything included. only drawback, $900.00 for the pair

POST 7Original post

Here is a better photo of the scoop I will contact Farnbacher Loles regarding group buy if thier is any interest

POST 8Original post

How long did the install for the CF vents take?

POST 9Original post

I think the middle 2 fins will drive more air into the intake. Don't you agree? LL

POST 10Original post

$900??? Holy cow. Really nice, but I think I'll pass on this mod.

POST 11Original post

No, I do not. My strong speculation is that those fins are for looks only. I don't think much for air is being force fed to the engine at all. I kind of like those though, and would rather have a set that was painted (so they don't have to be made of expensive carbon fiber). Do they make that thing in plastic or something?

POST 13Original post

How long did it take to get the hood badge off? Was it difficult? Thanks, Suneet

POST 14Original post

According to a Porsche tech rep, the vertical fins increase airflow 30% over the horizontal ones. supercroc

POST 15Original post

The hood badge comes off quickly by removing two speed nuts that you get to under the hood. 5 minutes

POST 16Original post

do the scoops stick out in one pic it looks like the scoop comes out further to catch more air, is that correct

POST 17Original post

I really like the silver crest. I think it will look great on my Atlas Grey CS. It should compliment the polished alum Forgelines I've got on order and the clear turn signals I just put on. Thanks Spydr - your post cost me $139 bucks!

POST 18Original post

scoops They do stick out about 1 inch and curve towards the front
