Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Check before refitting' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check before refitting' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

can't use cable ties but CV boot cables are metal and will do the job .

If yours are of no use then perhaps CV boot metal clips will do ..
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Howdy, hope you're all well.
Does anyone know if the clips that hold the ballast resistors inside the radiator brackets can be purchased online anywhere or are they a Porsche only item? Had a look but can't seem to find them except corroded eBay second hand items.
Just trying to save a drive to Porsche if possible.
The clips come with the ballast resistor for the fans and as such it will be rather expensive to buy .

:hand:
I was buying them for the rad pipes anyway when doing rads, brackets, condensers etc, so I simply ordered 8 instead of 4.
They're in the parts diagram so easy to find. I'd give you the part number I'm not at home.
One of the ballast resistors looked a bit nasty so thought I'd test with the Duramatric, sure enough speed 1 wasn't working one side.
Thanks to DeMort's ballast resistor post and Alex's cheap RS ballast resistor link I've found a cheap fix.
Thanks lads - top forum
