I will change the nipples after the next track session when I will probably flush it through again anyway - and get right under the car to do the clutch!
Leading evidence: 'Replace nipples' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). However my fluid has been changed about 4 times in the last 3 years so i think its ok - only changing now as there is the potential for a track session at knockhill in March (still a go at the moment but perhaps wishful thinking it will go ahead!) and I had the wheels off to fit my GT3 brake ducts.

Suggestion
Use brake cleaner to wash the nipples and calipers afterwards , that will remove any spilt brake fluid .
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Morning
I have started bleeding my brakes and think the time is here to replace the nipples as they are getting quite rounded now.
I have seen the packs of 8 x brembo nipples (£45 inc delivery) (M10 x 1.0) but wonder if there are any alternatives I should consider before purchasing.
I have bled in the following order (RHD car) but whilst asking about nipples (and knowing I will have to bleed again when I change them - i thought i might as well verify the order with you experts!
Rear nearside
rear offside
front nearside
front offside
Bleeding rear of caliper first, then front
Thanks
Chris
I tried various cheaper alternatives but found subtle differences in them (ramp angle, diameter of mating face etc), even though they were advertised to fit brembo callipers - so ending up buying genuine brembo bleed nipples.
Hopefully all of your threads are ok. I had an issue with one of mine, so had to send the calliper to Pro-Calliper, who did a great job drilling the thread out and putting a new thread in.
I would tend to say fit genuine brembo bleed nipples , i'm not a big fan of stainless steel nipples .. i've snapped a couple off in the past without even trying that hard .. i can feel if a nipple is seized normally but these surprised me .
I may just have been unlucky though but it still left a bad taste shall we say as i had to explain to the service advisor it now needed 2 nipples drilling out on a 1 day service which he then had to tell the customer .
Bleeding brakes ...
Start N/s/r and take out just over 0.5 ltr .. if you drain the reservoir first then 0.25 but as its difficult to remove the strainer without damage then do as first mentioned .
O/s/r .. 0.25
O/s/f .. 0.25
N/s/f .. 0.25
Use brake cleaner to wash the nipples and calipers afterwards , that will remove any spilt brake fluid .
If a manual car then you should also bleed the clutch at the slave cylinder but as its a pain to do then you can get away without doing it.
Technically though as it shares the brake fluid it should be done .
thank you all for your replies, i will stick with the genuine ones. I think the threads will be fine, all nipples move quite easily but I do notice them starting to look a little rounded which is why I will change.
I did bleed a fair bit through but perhaps not as much as demort suggested. However my fluid has been changed about 4 times in the last 3 years so i think its ok - only changing now as there is the potential for a track session at knockhill in March (still a go at the moment but perhaps wishful thinking it will go ahead!) and I had the wheels off to fit my GT3 brake ducts.
