I was making a Uturn when I noticed a bump in the steering wheel. It seems there is a hard round...something under the leather.
not as noticeable when I focus the camera on it. The grain throws it off, a minor defect but its a Porsche not a civic.
Im not sure how I never noticed it before. I will be calling my local dealer to get it replaced under warranty. It may be a piece of dirt, a clump of sewing string I dont know. I dont like it and its getting annoying. Im sure they will replace it under warranty.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
Wow, time to send it off to the crusher, I think...

I dont drive my car in the rain, I hate fingerprints anywhere on the car, I vaccum the floormats after I drive the car, I avoid driving behind any cars to avoid chips etc. my wheel wells are always clean, the undercarriage is always clean. I clean the inside of the wheels, I wait until the brakes dry before I drive it so that the rotor rust doesnt splash inside the rims. yes I am picky
I can tell it's there, but it's up to you if you want to do something about it. Definitely looks like something got caught under the leather. A good dealer should take care of it.
I'd have the dealer replace it as well. it's a flaw/mistake and should be replaced. Not sure hwy anyone would keep it that way. Things haooen but that doesn't mean you should settle for a defect that can easily be replaced/fixed.
Shhhhh. Everyone will want one like that.
Thanks, I agree I already called Tischer Porsche. I will bring the car by next week, if weather permits.

, does the dealer willing to change your steering wheel?
I have some defect in the steering wheel too and wanted to know if its cover under warranty
I sent a pic and have an appointment. we will see, I am sure they will replace it under warranty. It is definitely a defect, Im sure porsche doesnt put pieces of stuff under the leather when they stretch it out causing a bump in the leather. You guys will hear about what happens either way. I will keep you posted. I couldnt bring it in today and it is going to rain tomorrow. As long as the roads are dry on Thursday morning I will be there at 7:30am.
