Anyone got any experience of these? I was going to go down the H&R springs and Bilsteins route but these are pretty much the same price. I have seen them on ebay afew times about £900 so about same price as the designtek ones. On my previous 996.1 c4 I had coilovers fitted, it sat lovely for a instagram photo but the drive was very harsh and unforgiving. I'd be sticking with your original idea 💡😉

Haha that's my worry - I've had a few different sets of coilovers of all budgets over the years with ride quality ranging from better than stock to being pushed down a cobbled street in a tin bath and of the ones I've had, price hasn't always equalled quality and the recent Ohlins issue has backed that up

I think it's somewhat dangerous to just recommend "coilovers" in general, as the quality varies a LOT! The cheaper ones like JOM, are horrible piece of garbage while the nicer ones like H&R or Bilstein are incredibly good. I have no experience with Gecko, but as I've never heard of such a brand I would shy away from them and go with your initial plan instead.
