I purchased a new Porsche branded coolant hose (the one that connects to the front of the engine, AOS, and the coolant expansion tank. They are ever so slightly different but I feel that it will cause a problem.... thoughts?? The issue is the different connection near the bottom 90 degree. Old One was a straight shot with a coupler hose, new one is a 90 with no way to connect to the curved lower hose...

How about just modifying/ cutting back the piece that looks too long on the newer part? Maybe the older one was modified the same way? Is the part # the same, or is it an updated #?

There is no way to modify the new soft hose. Probably will cut the hard line if I can add a bead to it to avoid hose slippage
