Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi As the sun was out, I took out the 911 . I found that when I try to wash the headlights I would see a great big puddle of green screen wash under the right front wheel. Any ideas where this is from or has anyone had the same problem. Thanks

POST 2Original post

It's most likely to be the headlamp washer needs replacing .. very common for them to leak after not being used for a long time . Might be unplugged though .. you need to have a look .

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, How do I remove and refit a new one?

POST 4Original post

All headlamp washers are attached to the bumper ( PU ) in some way .. i would remove the headlight that side and see if i could undo it .. failing that i would remove the bumper and replace .. Working on every model of Porsche and i'm afraid i don't remember specific item replacements .. If the water is coming out behind the arch lining o/s/f then i personally would remove that then operate the washers to confirm where its leaking from .. i've seen these unplugged before and usually after a body shop has been near a car !! Workshop manual is here and it's all i have at home .. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=83491
