Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have recently replaced the rear silencers on my 996 c2 and have the old boxes at home. I have taken the tips but have the actual boxes - they are NOT in great nick and both are splitting so basically they need clamping and welding. I thought i would stick it on a post for anyone who wants a little project to make a spare pair of boxes. They are both MOT failures ! They are free to a good home but if i get no takers they will be chucked away. Collection only ( so would possibly suit surrey or west sussex members) Email me or reply to this post AngusR

POST 2Original post

Sounds like with a bit of creative welding and you could do your own Oettle sports exhaust mod......
