POST 1Original post

I think Porsche also made a 964RS CS GT Turbo....but only Domster is allowed to drive it In answer to the question, no idea.

POST 2Original post

The Clubsport was just the 'trackday' version of the standard Sport. It had a roll cage as standard and no carpets. Apart from that it was pretty much identical. They tend to have internal battery isolation (all 964RSs had this, but mainly under the bonnet), plus fire extinguishers and harnesses too. No extra mods to engine, suspension or brakes AFAIK. Drive a 'Sport' spec 964RS and you'll see that there wasn't a lot more to do. Maybe a more aggressive exhaus/intake system, fuel injectors and chip could get it up to the low 300s. Brakes and suspension are pretty much sorted as they are.

POST 3Original post

Does a PH'er own this car: I have been watching a '964 RS Celebration' having conversion work done. Its a standard road car, with two recaro race seats. The engine is now a 3.6 turbo, (waiting for a Motec management system to be fitted). The aim is not to chase BHP, but to get 420 BHP. Who is the owner? >> Edited by Pete Cros on Tuesday 24th September 10:10

POST 4Original post

I've seen an RS Clubsport listed for sale with a 3.8 engine, which I think is one of the proper Cup race cars. Other sites use the name to differentiate between the Lightweight and Touring versions by use of Clubsport and Comfort designations, similar to the GT3.

POST 5Original post

For the 964RS there were three specs: Sport (most were these) Clubsport Touring (for gaylords only) There wasn't a comfort spec, but believe me, the Touring wouldn't be that comfortable with the suspension how it is.

POST 6Original post

Interestingly, the actual Cup cars *were* different from the 964RS Clubsport machines - mainly in the suspension area. IIRC the 964RS has what is called 'virtual Cup suspension'. None of the Cup cars had 964RS chassis numbers AFAIK, so it is highly unlikely that a 964RS Clubsport could be an 'ex-Cup' car.

POST 7Original post

I totally agree the touring RS is somewhat pointless, but now they fetch even more cash than a normal RS and I have no idea why, but guess its cos they are so rare particully in RHD... Dom is bang on ref clubsport differences, with the factory mather cage it would be slighly stiffer than a regular RS and very slighly heavyer. The proper production figs in Porsche own language are- 2,282 RS produced (although EVO mag say 2,264) 76 Touring 290 Racing 1916 basic The only bit on RS's that really confuses me is the 300 bhp 3.8 RS. This is really called an RSR but this car always confuses me as the cup race cars were 3.6litre. From the figures I belive lightweights (inc clubsports) = 1,992 cars cup cars = 232 so my guest'imate is that the diff between the cup car figure & the total racing figure is the 3.8 RS number ie 58 Ive read that porsche produced 992 3.8 RS's but I cant belive it as ive never seen a genuine one and I dont know anyone in the UK who has seen more than 3. Ref a turbo RS it did not exist as a production car, but there was in 1992 just before the into of the 3.6 turbo engine on the 964 a 381bhp Turbo S based on the 3.3 engine. This was RS style ie it was very stripped and low and was realy a track car. Only 80 were produced. Im not normally so anal with numbers but im doing some Porsche buyers guides for Ted at the mo, so ive got magazines and files all over the place so I had the figures to hand.

POST 8Original post

I forgot ref diffs between clubsport & regular RS, the clubsports has no carpets or rooflining etc so the rgular RS seems almost plush in comparison

POST 9Original post

I knew it - Dom's car has a rooflining so must have been designed for nonces!!

POST 10Original post

I meant that some sites incorrectly use the GT3 comfort and clubsport names when referring to 964RS lightweight and touring cars, which doesn't help in the confusion stakes (mine in particular).

POST 11Original post

Cheers Basil, see what you mean. Didn't mean to be pedantic There really is no such thing as comfort in one of the buggers though, no matter how much cotton wool you shove into the headlining... I can't believe anyone who's ever driven a Touring gets the names mixed up

POST 12Original post

No worries Domster. I'm learning a lot from here, as you lot know your stuff. >> Edited by Basil Brush on Tuesday 24th September 15:51

POST 13Original post

M003 is the Porsche cars designation for the "Clubsport" not much more I can add except I've seen them with 3.6 & 3.8 engines and they're noisy as hell to drive - amazing the difference no carpets or headlining makes! I've also seen cup cars for sale too and Dom's right, they don't bear 964 RS chassis numbers. NB ISTR there are one or two widebodied cars out here purporting to be 964 RS too Cup cars had different suspension - harder, would you beleive, than the 964 RS Oh and Dom, the RS definitely has ABS - Bosch 5 reprogrammed, I believe

POST 14Original post

I read a road test on a cup car that said given how low they sit and how firm the suspension is you wouldn't really want to use one on UK roads.

POST 15Original post

Forgive me if I've missed this in any of the above but didn't the EVO article mention a 964 Carrera 4 'Lightweight,' specifically, as some sort of ultimate road-going 964, again, made in limited quantities? I must say, as I've mentioned to the Great Domster, I do get bleedin' confused from time to time with all these Porker variants (indeed, if you're reading this Dom, where was that definitive site you mentioned which listed ALL official variants since 1483?) I heard a 964 t'other morn (standard C2 I recall) and I must say, that oft cited 'chainsaw wail' was sublime, even without fruity exhaust treatment. Joyous stuff, them all. Just remember: move over if the Baron gets you in his sights...

POST 16Original post

Aha, welcome Mark Piper! Yes, I read in a road test that it has ABS. Must be that clever Bosch system that lets them lock temporarily, as I definitely felt them lock a little when I had to use them in anger/emergency. Most of the time you'll never get near ABS activation in the dry... Rgds Dom

POST 17Original post

Yeah, it's a close call with a 964RS, so a Cup car must be murder...

POST 18Original post

Only 20 964C4 lightweights, all race cars and make an RS seem to have soft suspension..... bit pricey now & probabally get 4 or 5 regular RS's for the price!

POST 19Original post

Hi Simon The site is www.dennigcars.com The Carrera 4 RS Lightweight was very rare, and only weighed 1100kgs. With the weight of the 4WD system that means you could probably get a C2RS down to 1050 or so... I reckon there's 60kgs to be saved on mine, straight away, keeping headlining and carpets. Cheers Dom

POST 20Original post

Cheers Domst, Pretty good site although a quick glance didn't seem to reveal where Ze Baron (unt offspring) fitted into the chronology? And since I'm sporting my favourite Parker anorak (with snorkel fully 'up') I couldn't help a quick peek at my old flame, the 928; they seem to have overlooked the 928S2 (and indeed the S3 which was a Stateside only variant) and their piccie of the S4 is probably a GT because it doesn't have the original mag-alloy jobbies as per the S, S2 and S4. Whoops, sorry - sadder than Saddam McSad, winner of last year's Mr.Sadman/Saddam competition..dribble Catch you later, dude.

POST 21Original post

b*gger thought I'd hidden my identity well. 964 C4 RS? I think not! 964 C4 "lightweight" maybe but RS? No, definitely not.

POST 23 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the feed-back guys, ive even learnt a little more than i thought i would! Now all i have to do is tip the sofa over and see if £35K falls out Domster - you say that you could get rid of 60KG on your RS pretty easilly, what kind of things are you talking about getting rid of to save this wieght?? Cheers, Marv

POST 25Original post

F**k off UV! Weight saving would be: spare wheel, jack, compressor, toolkit - approx 18kgs electric rear spoiler assembly replaced with kevlar carbon fibre fixed spoiler - approx 10kgs replace ali bonnet with kevlar one - approx 5kgs replace doors with kevlar ones - approx 10kgs per side rear silencer bypass (I have done this already) - approx 8kgs sports steering wheel - 1 kg plus you could get rid of carpet, headlining and sun blinds (go for a deep vinyl sun strip instead) but that would be a bit mad. I'd also get rid of stereo and speakers, but where do you stop? I think there was a bit more, but main thing was spare wheel and electric spoiler. Cheers Domster

POST 26Original post

Dom, What sort of tablets does your quack proscribe? You mad Laputan, you. Excellent!

POST 27Original post

Dominicus, I like your idaes mate but I think you're estimated eleccy spoiler figs are going to be the other way round. I've had that spoiler in my hands a few times and it don't weigh that much. You may even find that the fixed kevlar one is no lighter at all. UV - Love the comments re: Dom's lass, but your new bit of slap was looking a bit porky at the weekend, you ought to get her off the pie diet!

POST 28Original post

Have a crap before driving, 1Kg (YMMV)... You can go too far you know! Although one obvious way to save weight is to have a nearly empty fuel tank.

POST 29Original post

Yer, and get a more military hair cut Dom - bloody hippy!!!

UV/Dom - Yes before you crack it, I'm getting Mrs Scottster to have a breast reduction in the eternal search for weight reduction......

POST 32Original post

What about driving with your head out the sunroof and hands out the window. That's gota' save some weight... Bird's on 'sale or return' so any signs she's let herself go, and she'll be out the door... >> Edited by ultra violent on Wednesday 25th September 17:27

POST 33Original post

Replacing the doors with lightweight ones - alu or kevlar - is a big weight saving. The guy who runs the 993 RS register for PCGB - name escapes me - did exactly that and quoted some unexpectedly large value for weight saving when I met him at Bramham Park a while ago. Mind you, that's a 993 RS not a 964RS, and they're heavier anyway. But I think the lesson is that the doors are bloody heavy even if they have a strap to pull instead of a lever and no electric windows. Oh, and the 964RS does have ABS. It's an old design and doesn't recharge quickly, and rattles the pedal a LOT, but it's there and easily activated in the dry. Try braking hard on a bumpy road.....

POST 34Original post

UV - I thought all your birds were on a 'sale or return' basis, just you rarely get your money back I bet!!

POST 35Original post

Having owned a 'Cup Car' for a year I felt it time to chime in. The Cup Cars were built specifically to race in the Carrera Cup series '91-93. In '93/94 (I think) in came the 3.8RSR. However, if u wanted to buy a new Cup Car, you had to race at least three races in the Cup series and to ensure that you did this, on top of the purchase price you handed over a large bond, only returnable on completing the races. The 'Clubsport' is to all intents and purposes identical to a Cup Car, and was meant for what it says, Club racing. There are some very detail diferences, i'e. brass instead of steel synchro rings in the gearbox. The chassis numbers are not in the RS run. It weighs in at 1120kgs sans fuel, oil, pax seat. Is therefore LIGHTER than the RS. For more info see: www.porsche964.co.uk/history/964_cup.htm Also see pages 294-297 of Paul Freres book, Porsche 911 Story. BTW, the PCGB 993RS Reg Sec is Paul Howells. Caio Melv

POST 36 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hmmm.... thinking of buying that Paul Frere book, is it any good? flicked through a few pages of it in Waterstones and it seemed pretty good. Just one more question about the 964RS - anyone know the 0-100mph time is?? - ive looked all over the 'net and cant find a thing! BTW this thread is getting most confusing Porsche made too many variants of the 964RS!! Cheers, Marvin

POST 37Original post

Rubystone. Saw another thread on here called 'Subtle Plug', thought it said 'Sump Plug' and immediately thought of you.

POST 38Original post

Ref the book, yes it is very good its been around for a very long time and is always getting updated, the latest version is the 7th edition. Ive just looked in mine and it cleared up my own confusion ref the 964 3.8 RS/RSR.

POST 51Original post

Dom. IF I was about this weekend I'd certainly take you up on that offer. As it is I'll be in sunny Cheshire so can we do it another day? Oh go on. You've got me drooling at the thought. Rubystone. Anyone ever tell you how RUDE you can be?? I happen to be very proud of the job they did on my Seven. You would never know it used to be two.....

POST 52Original post

Hello Colin, no blatent pluging of ya company on here tho 'eh ya cheeky scamp. Mind you Dom does want a hotfilm vs motec 964RS comparison on the site so I guess you are just the man to see about that...

POST 53Original post

No problem about showing you an RS another time, but there is a gathering on Sunday, with other interesting cars to get a ride in as well. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Well worth cancelling weddings/holidays for. PS Welcome aboard Colin. I thought 'I bet he'll miss the quickshift' and then I saw your profile and realised that was unlikely >> Edited by domster on Friday 11th October 16:05

POST 54Original post

Yeah, I want a Hotfilm vs Motec comparison, because I've been singing Colin's praises and slagging off the hotfilm conversion quite a lot, so I want Dr Alex to put the argument to bed Motec is on the cards for next spring. Also considering a 3.8 big bore conversion, but will chat with Colin more before to see what he reckons.

POST 55Original post

I am always willing to rag the arse of a 964RS in the name of accurate, unbiased and balanced reporting. So Colin if you know of a willing punter with a Motec car, I'm sure the nasty trek oop North near Norway somewhere avoiding penguins and iceburgs as the winter approaches can be arranged. I'm always on the hunt for interesting porkers for the road test section too. The Dr

POST 56Original post

Let's start another thread for the Motec/Miss Flow/Chip debate eh? No problem with info, I have all the data freely available for scrutiny by any explorers who happen to be passing the North Pole. However, those interested parties who's piece of string is not long enough to let them escape the clutches of the M25 may be able to see a customer's car by driving S.E. to Kent IF you: a) speak to me nicely b) want to outgun a GT3 c) have the money to spend it wisely Anyway Dom, if you knew about the quickshift why didn't you write the info down?

POST 57Original post

'Cos iguana only gave me the info the other day (from the technical sheets) and I thought no-one else apart from myself and iggy would be interested

POST 58Original post

What info sheets are they then? I shut my eyes, mentally walk round the car and type at the same time, works for me. Of course it does help though when you also have one of each in the workshop.

POST 59Original post

Colin, I thought the RS rear screen was 100% standard 964, even down to the heated rear screen elements, albeit with no wiring to them?....and nitpicking, didn't the M003 retain the windscreen pillar trim too? Never got round to thanking you for giving me the trade price for RS front disks a year or so ago - Lancaster spat blood when I told them what price I could get the disks for but agree to honour it though! Has Nigel Parry been to see you yet, BTW?

POST 60Original post

Rubystone, Shame on you. The RS has no rear wiper, so the hole that the shaft pokes through is deleted and secondly the glass is thinner. That said the screen does have a heater element on it, but it is not connected as the switch is far too heavy. As for the screen vynil, the Matter cage is fitted up the pillar and obscures the entire length, and is welded to it at the bottom and top, so it is impossible to fit the vynil on the Clubbies. Anyone got any more questions, I'm starting to enjoy this??

POST 61Original post

Nigel's lovely mint green Clubbie has the honour of being the most powerful chipped standard engined RS that I have tested to date, posting an impressive 290bhp on our rollers. I saw his car at Banham but we did not cross paths, however I believe that he's on the lookout for more in the future so I dare say that we will talk soon. If you're out there Nigel drop me a line.

POST 62 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Let me add further to the confusion! In my (recently aquired) Porsche 911 Story book by Paul Frere, on page 298 it says about the 964RS: "but for safety reasons all the windows were of standard-guage glass" I think the Cup cars have thinner glass, but the road cars haven't! My question is now, is a 964RS Clubsport the same spec as a Cup car??

POST 63Original post

Glass is defo thinner. I've checked on Domster's and you can actually feel it's not as thick.

POST 64Original post

All the 964RS models, as far as I know, had the thinner door glass that has a 959.x.x.x part number. You can easily tell by measuring the thickness of the drop glass, the RS comes in at just over 3mm whereas the standard car is around 4mm. I think the rear quarter windows are the same (according to my microfische) but the rear window glass is unique to the RS (no wiper), I have not measured the thickness of these as I have never had one out.

POST 65Original post

My windows are thinner compared to a standard C2, as I have compared them side by side... Clubsport RSs are quite a bit different from Cup cars, although you wouldn't think it. Colin or Melvin may have the precise details, but I think that the suspension was definitely different, plus there were some changes to the interior spec, ie even more thrown out of the Cup cars, plus they may have come with one seat etc.

POST 66Original post

Bit late now, but... what was happening in Newbury on Sunday, as I live there?

POST 67Original post

Can't argue with Mr Belton can I. Impressive power indeed....5 bhp more than Nigel saw from "my" car on rolling road and he was so excited about that he called me to tell me! I see he's rebuilt the 930 too

POST 68Original post

A couple of us were getting together for a drive (didn't know you were near), but rain effectively stopped play. There will be another get together soon, biggest is Virginia Waters on Sunday. Cheers Dom

POST 69Original post

Rubystone Nigel? Excited? You sure? You can argue with me if you like, just make sure that it's the full half hour!

POST 70Original post

Oh yeah, he was ecstatic. Should have been, got a good deal on the car in the first place, then decided too nice for track days & sold it to (excuse me for swearing) MCP Motorsport. I think he's second only to David Lees in the nutter stakes myself...but that's only my opinion :-)

POST 71Original post

So are you telling me that Nigel has sold his mint minty CS to MCP 'cos it is too nice to track?? If so I think you're right, he must be one can short. The car may have been near perfect but so what, All RS's need a good spanking on the track once a month otherwise we will all forget what they are for and have to join in with the "jack it up and clean the inner wheelarches in the rain under a sheet" club. Aaagghhh!

POST 72Original post

Completely off topic again I'm afraid, but I went to school with someone of that name. It isn't exactly a common surname, so who is this person? Is he on PH?

POST 73Original post

Colin, no, he bought my RS, decided it was too nice to smash up :-) and chased after the mint green Clubsport he now owns. As for David Lees, last I heard he was living in Coulsdon still, but originally from oop north (Yorkshire?) Been club racing for the last 20 years at least, campaigned a 911 2.4E in the '80s when I first met him and now races (when not blowing it up) a mint green RS that used to be (still is?) Supercharged. Regularly winds up a lot of big ego racers in the Intermarque series...until he goes up against Richard Chamberlain, that is :-)

POST 74Original post

If he's following Richard he must be used to playing "dodge the conrod"... (in joke)

POST 75Original post

LOL - still an awesome car when on song - lapped the entire field at the last Intermarque didn't it?

POST 76Original post

...just before the gearbox broke. Hey, I'm not knocking Richard, I just wish that I had the funds to build a car that would give him a run for his money as I think that his beastie is magnificent, it defies more laws of Physics than Stephen Hawking can explain. I'm building a GT2 chassis for next year though, so maybe I'll find the resources to get it out there and push him along a little with our 450bhp atmo 3.8; fancy sorting out a nice sponsorship package anyone?

POST 77Original post

9M I wish you luck but you have got to be kidding, the couple of times I saw the Orange Beast (600 Bhp?)in the Porsche open series this season it was ripping the rest of the field to shreds. A monster, yes, but quite beautiful. DAZ PS1 A colleague in the series commented "I don't have to count the laps, Richard will be passing me on the 5th or 6th!!!" PS2 The Financial Times journalist with the black Kremer look 911 like RC's, what's his BHP?

POST 78Original post

What it needs is Neil Bainbridge to drag his car out of retirement (always assuming he still owns it)

POST 79Original post

Daz No, you read it right and I kid you not. Richard the Magnificent actually has 700 horses to play with, but we all know that getting the power down with a turbo motor is not easy, and such is the prodigious torque it is not easy to drive when the weather is indifferent, hence the reason why my mate Pete Morris stuck his standard 964RS Clubsport on pole for Donnington. So RtM can be beaten, especially when he fails to finish. Oh ye of little faith indeed. The point is a bit like the Tortoise and the Rabbit I admit but if you are the next one down the grid or snapping at his heels on the tighter tracks it can happen. Watch this space.

POST 80Original post

9M I wish you and your team the best of luck for next season. Anything that can make the result less predictable is for the good of the series. DAZ

POST 81Original post

I have a mint 964 Clubsport that has just been madee available for purchase if anyone out there fancies one, please call me at the usual number is you are looking for a superb car for around £34K.

POST 82Original post

Hello Chasps -can we get this straight, ASAIK -Cup Car -built specifically to contest the Porsche Cup series. Punters had to complete at least three races, or lose their mega DM bond. Clubsport -almost identical to a Cup Car -only real way to tell the difference is the Chassis Number. Built becuase racers wanted to buy a Cup Car, but didn't want to race in the Cup series. RS -the spawn of the Cup Car, just a road going version..... And you are right about a Cup Cars' suspension -smooth tracks only please!!!! Not for those suffering from heamorrhoids or wearing false teeth..... When was the VW meet? -I only live up the road. Mel 964RS Register.

POST 83Original post

Ref -Richard Chamberlains car. Beautifully prepared, but walked away at Combe -He didn't even have a race.....Sorry, but can't see the point unless there are other monsters to race against.

POST 84Original post

Colin - is it the mcp motorsport one that Martin was flogging? Looked tasty. What a great colour! Melv - the VW meet details are in Events/Meetings forum, sometimes a thread on the marque forums too. The VW one was last weekend.

POST 85Original post

Thanx Dom. Next time. Where EXACTLY do u meet in VW? Mel

POST 86Original post

In Queenie's car park, the one where you pay 3.50 to get in. Keeps the Nova boys out you see, as PHers tend to be better heeled than the Halfords posse. Apart from iguana, but we like him

POST 87Original post

Dom, Anyone who wants a lovely 964RSCS should get in touch, I'm not divulging anything on the site as I am not here to sell cars and the customer wants to keep the sale quiet.

POST 88Original post

Oi Crasher Colbeck you cheeky ratbag, I'll have you know I've got a nice pair of heels and I like to think quite shapely calves....

POST 89Original post

Dom, what exactly! happened to your car?????????

POST 90Original post

Spun it in the wet, but no harm done . Surprised the badgers though The reputation of the 964RS precedes it, but I wasn't paying attention and an armful of opposite lock didn't have the required result when exiting a sharp bend. Snapped like a doberman catching its nuts in a car door. The limits in the wet are much lower than its superhero status in the dry for the unwary, so I have been well and truly 'learned' and already got a refresher skid control course booked. Interestingly, the steering is quite high geared because it is not PAS, and a bit heavier, so this makes opp lock difficult to put on as quickly as a PAS car. But at the end of the day I simply ran out of talent at a crucial moment. Moral, drive slower in the wet >> Edited by domster on Friday 25th October 18:32

POST 93Original post

Michelin Sport Pilots, half worn. I think this was incidental to a lack of traction on a slippery road cuased by an excessively heavy right foot. I have some 17 inch Cup 2s as winter tyres running on S02s. Not sure whether these have better wet weather performance, or if I'd be able to tell. My right foot is obviously less sensitive than Mr Belton's! You are meant to lower the tyre pressure by a few psi on trackdays, aren't you? What to? From 36psi to...? Cheers Domster

POST 94Original post

Domster, Never been a fan of those Michelins, esp. in the wet. S02's however are IMO the best road tyre you can run on a 911 full stop. Trouble is they've now been replaced with S03's which I'm told are just awful. As for pressures (using SO2's). I run 32 cold all-round for road use. For track days I drop the rears to 29. Last time I had 36(cold)in the rears I had a sideways moment, exiting a round-about which although caught wasn't in the plan.

POST 95Original post

Cheers Paul, you're making me feel a little better now Will try 32 all round.

POST 96Original post

Recently, I've been watching the progress of 964 RS conversion. The car was a 964 RS Celebration model, its now got a 3.6. turbo engine controlled by a MOTEC system. The car is now back with the ownwer. The rolling road/dyno session finished at 450BHP 600Nm torque.

POST 97Original post

I have Michelin Pilot Cup Sports all round. The nice man at Michelin said "32psi hot all round" and it seems to work....

POST 98Original post

Peter, Domster is using Pilot sports, where as your using Pilot CUP sports (the road-legal semi-slick P-Zero C replacement). I also heard that the cup tyres need a lower psi compared to normal road tyres (SO2's etc). I thought you where using Eagle-F1's or have they now expired? I've also heard good things about these Dunlop Formula Type R's.

POST 99Original post

Wow what a great group, wish I'd got here sooner. Colin did you do the RS specs from memory. Can anyone confirm just what is different about the front bumper. It's listed as a seperate part No?

POST 100Original post

Welcome Laurence The front bumper has no holes for the headlight washer jets in it, unlike a standard 964. Sorry to hear about the lamp post I have found they can bite as well Colin probably knew the RS info off the top of his head... any question and he'll answer... what's the throw of the short shift lever Mr B? >> Edited by domster on Thursday 31st October 13:31

POST 101Original post

Thanks for the welcome. Had not thought about the washer jets. Was unsure wether the washer jets were standard to all markets! Gear lever travel was 52mm as opposed to the standard cars 62mm so 10mm less travel.I will take my anorak off now.

POST 102Original post

I thought it was 55mm Where's Colin to adjudicate?

POST 103Original post

Boys, get a life. Mind you if you had asked me the difference in weight of the 964, 993 and 993RSR cam followers I would have been in like a shot! (144/112/100g respectively before you ask)

POST 105 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just a general question, what differentiates a 964RS Clubsport and a 'normal' 964RS. All i know is that Porshce only made 150, and they seem to come with a roll-cage as standard. Looking at the prices, they seem to be about 5-6 thousand pounds more than a vanilla RS. Any further wieght reduction or engine modifications??

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
