I tried everything I disconnected the battery, I checked for fault codes, I made sure that the micro switch was sitting flush with the door handle, I degreased the latch on the door, hell I even tried slamming the thing to get it to work but not the single shred of luck.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hello fellow Porsche enthusiasts : ) I wanted to lock my car one night but it gave me a beep telling me that ether my glove box is open or one of my doors. I check to make sure that all of my doors are locked including fronk and trunk but no luck my car kept beeping saying that my door was still unlocked. It was quite strange when I noticed that my window didn't shut after I had closed my door. I turned on the car making sure that the window itself worked and it did but it still did not seal the car thinking that the door was still open. I tried everything I disconnected the battery, I checked for fault codes, I made sure that the micro switch was sitting flush with the door handle, I degreased the latch on the door, hell I even tried slamming the thing to get it to work but not the single shred of luck. The passenger door doesn't seem to have a problem. It is only the driver door. Has anyone other than me experienced this issue? Is there a switch that has gone, maybe a sensor? cables that have fried? Any and all help would be much appreciated thanx.
