Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

For the last 3 MOT's on my 98 model, I get an Advisory relating to corrosion to the main front to back brake pipes. Wondering how easy they are to change / bleed. Oh my car has T.C. if it makes a difference.

POST 2Original post

Had mine done last summer after MOT fail. It's a bugger of a job and takes quite a few hours labour. Find a good indy with sensible labour rates and get all of them replaced. Seems to be an issue when cars get 10 years plus old...hardly surprising really.
