If you wanted you could also download the 996 and 986 manuals and compare the bushes, at a quick glance the front and rear ARB's might use 996 mounting bushes based on their part number.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

My cayman S is almost 5 years old now, guess most of the bushings has gone bad and looking into changing all of them. Have contacted Powerflex UK for bushings but Cayman S is not listed and they have no idea what is exchangable with other Porsche's model either. So,guess i have to stick with oem items. Can anyone help me out here with oem part numbers. thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

You can download the parts manual in PDF from Porsche's website here If you wanted you could also download the 996 and 986 manuals and compare the bushes, at a quick glance the front and rear ARB's might use 996 mounting bushes based on their part number.

POST 3Original post

I just wanted to share a trick I learned and that is to buy a few bottles of AT-205 Re-Seal. Put them in a spray bottle and every now and then just squirt all your bushings and any rubber seals you can get to. You likely will never have to replace them again. I hope that save some people alot of time and money for an $40 investment (I buy 4 at a time).

POST 4Original post

I wouldn't suggest running poly bushings on anything but the sway bars. What are you after specifically?
