Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The labor for fixing the top is about the same as the labor for replacing the top, since the top must be removed and replaced.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hi both of the bottom corners of my top have this problem, is there any fix than a full replacement?
the yellow must have something to do with the flash
Get a new top. The labor for fixing the top is about the same as the labor for replacing the top, since the top must be removed and replaced. Some have tried a DIY repair with mixed results. I tried it and it was difficult and didn't look great.
A new top with German A-5 canvas is $1600-$1800 installed.
+996 to what wyovino said. IMHO, seriously consider a glass rear window for the new top (yes, smaller but you will NOT encounter yellowing/delamination
)
New tops have a sewn in rear window so if replaced it should not happen again. Why Porsche ever glued it in is beyond me. I bought a top on eBay for about $400 in OEM cloth German A5. Local shop charged about $600 to install it. Not as nice as a GAHH top but much less expensive. The glass rear window top are also much more and the window is tiny.
How's your needlework? I was considering trying a DIY fix on this, but after reading all of the threads about raw knuckles and muttering a plethora of creative expletives, decided not to take it on myself.
My upholstery guy, who does this stuff for a living, even said it's a pain in the *** to do.
I would go for a new top with glass window if this ever happened to my top. The glass ones may be small but you have two great rear view side mirrors to compensate.
My decision to go with the plastic window was that I felt it looked more like the lines of a coupe. Either way, a new top is a good idea. I recommend the GAHH top.
