Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just had word from Porsche that my air conditioning heat exchangers are both leaking. Is this a DIY job and where's best to get the heat exchangers from?

POST 2Original post

its a diy job if you have an air con machine mate .... you can get condensors from eurocarparts and they are behind the front bumper if you fancy doing them but like i say you need to ensure there is no gas in them and you will then have to go get the system regassed..

POST 3Original post

Buying them is straightforward, get the Porsche part code from OPC and google it. You can buy Behr which is the OEM, or cheaper 3rd party as well as OPC of course (Behr at a higher price). Note that the condensers are model specific. Installing them is also straightforward, you'll need to remove the front bumper PU. This will make your life easier. http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=37139 You should also change the drier fitted on the front bulkhead. Regassing is straightforward, just go to Kwikfit!
