I certainly changed my wish list from where it started and that is because of the input on here, and from Mark Pearce, who I would have liked to have bought from, but he didn't quite have the right one for me.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My quest for the right C4S has ended and I will be an official Porsche owner by the end of the week. Photos galore and full Spec will follow. Thanks to everyone who has helped with answering random questions over the last few months. My wife thinks I have become a proper geek as I try to interest her in the various differences between C2, C4 and C4S and all the options. Still a lot to learn but I feel I made an informed decision mostly because of this forum. I certainly changed my wish list from where it started and that is because of the input on here, and from Mark Pearce, who I would have liked to have bought from, but he didn't quite have the right one for me. More random questions will now follow as I explore ownership. Starting with cleaning - are there any guides or dos and don'ts?

Sounds familier, I have just bought my first Porsche, a C4 it (she) is being delivered on Sunday, this site is awesome so much to read up on. The guy I am buying from is an absolute genius when it comes to Porsche knowledge. Enjoy your new toy! Ken
