Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think I have found my C4S. Going to see it this weekend and if all goes well should be on my drive next weekend. But just has an important thought - can you get two golf bags in the back if the seats are down?

POST 2Original post

Yes amazingly enough you can - use a protective sheet though! :hand: Ray

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cheers - pretty much run out of reasons for not buying one!

POST 4Original post

A friend of mine comfortably gets his set in a Boxster. Only problem is the resultant, rather selfish, single-seater configuration.

POST 5Original post

Most definately!!! I can get 2 sets of Clubs and a Golf Trolley (for the girlfriend, you know how lazy these women can be!! :nooo: ) in the back of mine. The most important fact that no one has mentioned is how every body stares when you pull all those sets of Clubs out the back of what they think is a small sports car :? Confuses the hell out fo them!!!!

POST 6Original post

usually need to take the driver out, the golf club not the person! watch the side panels for scuffing but if you are careful it works fine.

POST 7Original post

I can comfortably get two bags in my C4S, usually carry bags but I've had a couple of trolley bags in. Also managed to squeeze 2 compact trolleys in the front. Obviously protective sheets are essential. A friend has a Boxster and his carry bag comortably fits in the boot. What I would like to find is a spongy protective bag for my golf carry bag so I wouldn't have to be so careful arranging a sheet and carefully passing the bag into the car. Has anyone come across anything suitable?

POST 8Original post

what about a travel cover http://www.direct-golf.co.uk/golf_a...vers_and_cases_padded_golf_travel_cover/p3190

POST 10Original post

Jeez you guys! If I can get a stepladder in mine, a couple of sets of golf clubs shouldn't be too difficult :thumb:

POST 11Original post

Had a strut on my garage door brake in half, took it to work & asked one of the guys to weld it back together, next problem wouldn't fit in the 911 to get it back home again, practical yeah....... fantastic!! :floor:

POST 12Original post

How many elephants can you get in a Porsche :?: :nooo: :floor: :floor: :floor: :floor: :floor: :floor: :floor:

POST 13Original post

Who suggested the thule box???? :floor: It's funny to see the reaction of people when I pull my snowboard out the back - classic!

POST 14Original post

I've just got a 996 and tried my carrying bag in the back, I'd suggest one of those canvass coverbags you get for transporting clubs by aeroplane. Btw my last porsche about 3 cars ago was a boxster and you could easily get a set of clubs in the back and a folding trolley in the front. and if you were giving your golf partner a lift they could get their bag in front with them. was always a problem with a 4 ball though, but I guess you could tow them if they wore rollerblades. Who needs an estate car

POST 15Original post

Porsche Design could produce a towable performance trolley naturally incorporating N rated 295/45 tyres on light weight 19"alloys with ceramic brakes! Open the sunroof and you can get planks of wood in from Jewsons or golfbag on the front passenger seat, still leaves enough room in the back for my German Sheprherd! He's a very good golfer!
