Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Black, Aero, X50. needed a clean but bodywork was in really good condition. thought TOO good at the front - no stone chips, I guess there are no problems with respraying these as long as its cosmetic and not crash respray (I couldnt tell!)
Car had a few miles (58k), good spec but wasnt cheap. Power delivery was a little more savage than I thought, quick car though. Triptronic felt quite smooth (having only been in M3 prior with tip.) but a bit slow to enage after the button was pressed....manual I think for me.
Love the Aero kit though. made it stand out. I wouldnt just look for Aero models but I think X50 or exhaust / remap cars will be favoured.
The missis - well she hated it. :dont know: Although we were both surprised at the room in the back.. God love 'em though....err no!
I have 2 other questions -
European Import, first registered in UK - Any issues with servicing / limited spec /
insurance
etc
Car on PH / Trader with 570hp, work done at FearnSport. Seems cheap for the spec but its an early one. Been for sale for a while, which i guess isnt uncommon these days! but Is this becasue people are scared to purchase a car with such mods? Anyone know this car (its kinda intriguing spec wise!)
Opinions / advice welcome!
It's seems common practice for OPC and indie dealers to paint over the front due to stone chipping.
PPI will tell you the rest.
I've been looking at the 570 for a while.(just pictures)
570bhp
output is quite a claim and will be quite an animal!Nothing wrong with starting at the top. Boeing do a similar machine.
I wondered if this was a late or early version.
Enjoy the test ride if nothing else.
Report back what you think it could be interesting!
Leave the missus in the kitchen.

996 tt buying.
My buying advice came from 911uk.com when I considered a 996 turbo. I looked at a few, and when I found one at the right price, colour spec etc., I was almost sold. The part ex deal was also a juicy carrot! Until I had a PPI done by an Porsche independent. I was told to walk away from that one as there was a turbo problem, no heat shields, suspension issues...Anyway, I found a C4S Cabrio instead, with a few minor bits doing, but a great drive! So do the PPI bit...or buy from RSJ as Joel always has great cars there...even though I should have bought one from him in the first place. Next time....
I've never considered a independany check on any other car before. Its likely that I'd do one now. from a dealer though you always have some comeback if you find anything wrong with the car within the driveaway warranty period. Of course thats if it raises its head within that time or you get it checked within that period. there is another one at 911virgin with a DMS upgrade that ticks the boxes on the basis of the advert.
I have got a good partx option...but its limiting and after looking at a few I'm now not sure the easy way out it best...
PPI price for indie Porsche specialist
I paid £117 (including VAT) for the PPI on a 2002 996 TT with 50,000 miles. I think they saved me £9,000 - £10,000 in repair bills had I bought the car!! The specialist looked at everything, bodywork, engine, suspension, tyres, electrical switches, etc.....test drove it too.
At that price its def worth it... I thought they were around 500 inc vat!
In fact I'd certainly tell the dealer it was having one done and if there were any issues then expect me to walk away. It may prompt them to save all concerned some time if they actually know any dodgy history....
